Common Notary Services
Acknowledgments
An acknowledgment is commonly used when a signer needs to acknowledge that they signed a document voluntarily. The signer must personally appear before the notary, provide acceptable identification, and acknowledge signing the document.
Jurats
A jurat is commonly used when a signer must swear or affirm that the contents of a document are true. The signer must personally appear, provide acceptable identification, take an oath or affirmation, and sign in the presence of the notary.
Oaths and Affirmations
Some documents or statements require the signer to swear or affirm that the information provided is true. We can administer oaths and affirmations when required for a proper notarial act.
Students, Families & Visiting Scholars
Mobile notary appointments may be helpful for students, families, visiting scholars, sponsors, and professionals who need eligible prepared documents notarized.
Common needs may include school-related forms, housing or lease-related documents, authorization letters, affidavits, and sponsor or family-support documents.
Documents for International Use
Some documents intended for use outside the United States may require notarization before being submitted to a school, employer, family member, agency, or institution.
Clients should confirm requirements with the receiving agency before the appointment. We do not provide legal, immigration, translation, or document-preparation advice.
Power of Attorney Documents
We provide mobile notary service for power of attorney documents when the signer is present, properly identified, willing to sign, and aware of the transaction.
Healthcare Directives
We can assist with notarizing healthcare-related documents when notarization is required and the signer can communicate directly with the notary in English.
Trust and Estate-Related Documents
We assist with notarizations for trust and estate-related documents. We do not prepare legal documents, explain legal rights, or advise which type of notarization is required.

We can notarize real estate-related documents when the notarial act is appropriate and the signer meets California notary requirements.

What the Signer Needs
- Valid, acceptable identification
- The document requiring notarization
- All pages of the document
- All required fields in the document should be completed before the appointment, except for signatures or notarial wording that must be completed in front of the notary.
- If witnesses are required, the signer must arrange for them to be present
- Payment method
- The ability to communicate directly with the notary in English
Please do not sign documents before the appointment unless you are certain the document allows it. Some documents must be signed in front of the notary.

We can assist with eligible prepared pension, retirement, account-related, beneficiary, insurance, and financial documents when a notarial act is requested.
Property and Real Estate Documents
Appointments may include eligible deeds, property authorizations, affidavits, and other prepared real estate documents. Full loan-signing packages are not currently offered.
Multiple-Signer Appointments
Businesses and professional offices may coordinate appointments for multiple signers. Estimates depend on travel, appointment time, number of signers, and number of notarizations.
