Mobile Notary Fees
Clear mobile notary pricing with a California notarial fee plus a posted travel zone fee.
Riverstone Signature Services provides pricing before confirming your appointment. Final pricing depends on the appointment location, number of notarized signatures or notarial acts, appointment time, waiting time, and any other requested services.
How Pricing Works
1. California Notarial Fee
California sets a maximum fee of $15 for many notarial acts. Common notarizations such as acknowledgments and jurats are generally charged per notarized signature or notarial act, as allowed by California law.
2. Mobile Travel Fee
The mobile travel fee is separate from the notarial fee and is based on the appointment location, distance, travel time, and appointment circumstances.
Mobile Travel Zone Fees
Travel zones are intended to make pricing easier to understand before scheduling. Exact pricing will be confirmed before the appointment.

Additional Fees That May Apply

Special-Location Appointments
We regularly assist clients at offices, businesses, hospitals, care facilities, assisted living communities, and other convenient locations.
Some appointments may require additional time or coordination, including hospital visits, care facility appointments, hospice settings, detention facilities, airports, secure buildings, or locations with parking or access requirements.
Appointments Outside Normal Business Hours
Our normal service hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM.
Appointments outside normal business hours may be available by arrangement. After-hours, weekend, holiday, or urgent appointments may include an additional convenience fee, typically starting at $35-$75 depending on the time, location, and availability.
Common Appointment Examples
Simple local appointment
One signer, one or more notarized signatures, during regular service hours, within a posted travel zone.
Care facility or hospital appointment
Pricing may include travel zone, notarial fees, and any extra time needed for parking, access, signer readiness, or facility coordination.
Evening or weekend appointment
Appointments outside regular service hours may include an additional fee based on schedule, location, and urgency.
Extended-distance appointment
Locations outside the listed zones are quoted individually before scheduling.

Payment is due at the appointment.
