Hospital, Hospice and Rehabilitation Mobile Notary Services
Riverstone Signature Services provides respectful, professional mobile notary appointments for patients, residents, families, attorneys, and care teams throughout Yolo County and the Greater Sacramento Area.
We travel to hospitals, hospice settings, rehabilitation centers, transitional-care facilities, and other approved healthcare locations when the signer is available and able to participate in the notarization.

Hospitals
Bedside appointments may be arranged for patients who cannot travel, subject to hospital access rules and the signer’s condition at the time of the appointment.
Hospice Settings
We provide calm, respectful appointments in hospice residences, care facilities, and private homes when the signer is willing and able to communicate directly with the notary.
Rehabilitation Centers
Appointments can be coordinated at inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and transitional-care facilities for eligible prepared documents.
Private Residences
We also travel to homes when illness, injury, recovery, or limited mobility makes travel difficult.

Before Scheduling a Bedside Appointment
- Confirm the signer is awake, alert, willing, and able to communicate directly with the notary
- Confirm the signer has acceptable identification available
- Ask facility staff whether there are visitor restrictions, check-in procedures, or limited visiting hours
- Confirm the document is complete and ready for signing
- Confirm the number of signers and notarizations needed
- Arrange any required witnesses before the appointment
- Provide the room number, unit, facility contact, and parking or access instructions
Signer Awareness and Willingness
The signer must personally appear before the notary and must be willing to sign. The notary must be able to communicate directly with the signer and be satisfied that the signer is aware of the transaction.
A notarization may not proceed if the signer is unconscious, heavily sedated, confused to the point of being unable to communicate, unwilling to sign, or unable to demonstrate awareness of the transaction.
Coordinating With Families, Attorneys and Care Teams
Appointments are often arranged by adult children, attorneys, social workers, case managers, care coordinators, or facility staff. We can coordinate logistics with the arranging party while preserving the signer’s independence and direct communication with the notary.
